Katomeri is located on the island of Meganisi and is a settlement of the Regional Unit of Lefkada. Administratively it belongs to the Community of Katomeri and belongs to the Municipality of Meganisi.

The island is adorned with lacy shores, impressive fjords and is the largest island in the complex of the Televoid Islands.
Access
The island Meganisi is located between Lefkada and Etoloakarnania. It is the largest island of the Princes Islands of Lefkada, which is why it is so known. It has an area of 22,356 sq. Km. On the island there are three villages, Katomeri (seat of the municipality), Vathi and Spartochori. The well-known islet of Scorpios also belongs to the municipality of Meganisi. Access to the island is only from the side of Lefkada. For Meganisi there are regular ferry services from Nydri. The ship catches in the port of Spartochori, Spilia. The duration of the journey does not exceed 25 minutes.
